Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi Has anyone transferred within the civil service by swapping with another person at the same level. I know it can be done, so just checking the details. How do you go about it and does it have to be within the same department?

I am looking as it as an alternative to the mobility scheme.

I believe head to heads are no longer allowed following the launch of the mobility scheme

    This is from mobility faqs

    49. Can I continue to make applications through the Central Transfer List scheme or the Central Application Facility (CAF) or my organisation’s Internal Regional Transfer Lists?

The facility to make applications through these mechanisms is no longer available. The Civil Service Mobility scheme replaced all of these schemes.

    50. Can I still move internally within my organisation?

Internal mobility continues to take place nationwide within an organisation, outside of the remit of the Civil Service Mobility Scheme for the grades of Assistant Principal and Principal Officer. For the grades of Clerical Officer, Executive Officer, Higher Executive Officer and Administrative Officer, internal mobility can only take place within a given zone (where an organisation has more than one office in a zone), with the Civil Service Mobility scheme to be used for all zone to zone transfers.

    51. Will Head-to-Head transfers still apply?

Head-to-Head transfers between organisations will no longer apply.
