rav4 seat belt lights question

    hi folks,need some info,i now have a 2016 toyota rav4,are the the rear passengers seat belt warning lights supposed to be on,or make a noise when someone does not belt up on the passenger /back seats?when i dont put on the belt.a little red man starts flashing,no noise/beep.any advice welcome.thanks

    The front seats have an alarm if there is someone in the seat and the belt isn't used.

    The rear seat belts have 3 lights that light up after starting and show red/green depending whether the rear seat passengers belt up or not. Those lights go off after a few seconds though and there is no audible alarm for the rear.

    Are you carrying any items in the back seats at the same time? There's sensors in the front and as far as I know the back where if someone or an item is placed it will activate the warning if not belt is on at the same time for that seat.
