Hi I have a couple of machines that I operate in damp environments. They have regular domestic 3 pin plugs.

Can I replace the plugs with 16amp single phase pugs? Thanks

I would consider using MK Masterseal sockets as these have a high IP rating. This would mean that the same plugs could be used which means that you would still have the benefit from having a fuse in the plug top.

Also bear in mind that commando sockets are unshuttered.
