Dreadful news coming out of Belgium tonight where Chris Anker Sørensen has passed away following a traffic collision while on his bike near Zeebrugge - he was there working for Danish TV on the upcoming world championship. Only 37

    RIP

Poor guy, he was one of Contador's key men for years.

I don't like the phrasing of that though (and its not a go at you, i've seen it elsewhere on cyclingtips and twitter) - "He passed away following a traffic collision" - He was killed in a car accident.

This is so unbelievably sad. He was such a fighter on the bike as a pro

    So young

    Cycling can be so dangerous
