We're planning on moving from the city centre to Leixlip. Specifically, we've been looking at houses in the Rinawade estate. Anyone who does/has lived there willing to share their experiences of it and the general area?

Had family live in Rinewade estate was fine, think it was Cyberplains or something when they first bought, but estate across the road Lough Na Mona has a bit of a bad reputation.

Other estates like Castletown, Oaklawn And Gleneaston (all near Rinewade are fine)

Leixlip is a grand spot good bus and rail links, good GAA, gym, and sport facilities. Couple nice pubs and restaurants but nicer ones in Maynooth. Decent schools and nice walks along the canal.

Edit : the yearly festival is total sh1te.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

Living in Rinawade over four years now.

Really nice estate and would recommend.

A lot of transport options to get into Dublin city centre.

I've heard house prices are rising fast though. Intel employees always looking to live in Leixlip that keeps the demand high.
