FS: Wahoo Kickr - used once

Hands up, I am an idiot. Got into online racing during lockdown but never really liked it and sold it once things started opening back up. Wasn't really getting into shape over the race season so decided to buy another one after talking to others about Sufferfest and the like. Unfortunately, I have had it for 2 months and only used once. Outside the 60 day no quibble return but still 9.5 months of a warranty. Asking €800 but it is negotiable as it will just sit here and devalue over the coming months. I can put up photos later.

Bit like selling the winter woolies! Not using them over the summer is perfectly understandable. Just be careful of selling it up just as it's coming into it's seasonal raison d'etre. If by Feb 22 it's still covered in dust then sell it for sure :)

Does anyone use their turbo over the summer? I got back on it this week for the first time since around April. I don't see it getting prolonged use till around the end of Oct till Feb/March.

It' coming into peak selling period aswell if you do want it gone.

I sold my last one before winter last year, didn't miss it at all. Tales of clubmates coming into form using Sufferfest, riders I would have been on par with, convinced me I needed one. I don't and don't see it happening either. Maybe if CI do a league over the winter I might keep it but realistically I don't see it happening.

Ah fair enough. I wouldn't be a racer or sufferer on the turbo or rollers either. It's gotta be some way enjoyable to keep you going back to it.

As above, it's surely the ideal time to sell. The wife has a kickr core and loves it.

I don't do eyeballs out stuff on it at all. Just threshold intervals, done and dusted in under an hour 4 or 5 X 8minutes. Get a podcast or a Netflix series in. It's great. 3 or times a week and one long spin at the weekend. You can get institutionalised and dread going out for real on the road :). No cleaning, no oiling, no overshoes :)

i’m similar to you in that i’m dubious I will use a turbo but I’ve just had a baby and have to do something! I’ll offer 700 for it. I’m away for the week so take a few days to work out if you want to sell.

Sorry it's gone, collected yesterday. If hungry4k doesn't take to it he might come back to you, it was a full Kickr, not the core.
