Hi all,
Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Have to turn radio off manually

    Hi i am driving 151 opel combo van with the original radio. I bought it a few months back and always had to turn off radio manually as i asaumes this was the way.i lately realises it isnt. I have tries numerous lubricants in the ignition but no effect. I was recently told it is an electric switch behind the ignition thats the problem. Cant anyone help me.

    Try leaving it on, taking out key and lock car/van. See if radio goes off a minute or two later

    Switch on ignition, switch off stereo, press and hold down buttons 1 & 3, switch stereo back on. Before you hear a confirmation beep the stereo display will show what the current state of the ignition logic is. It will be either 'IGNI ON' or 'IGNI OFF'. When the confirmation beep is heard the state is changed.

    Hi all ,thanks for taking the time to reply. radio doesnt switch off no matter how long the van is locked

    When i turn off radio and hold down buttons 1 and 3 and turn radio back on, nothing happens. Radio wont switch on
