Newborn birth certificate delays

    Hi,

    Our daughter was born in the beginning of June this year. We sent our documents to register the birth in early July and we have still not received confirmation of the birth registration or a birth certificate.


    All we have received is an automated response advising that we would be contacted in due course by a representative. No follow up emails have received any response!


    Has anyone managed to successfully register their child's birth and obtain a certificate?

    I had to ring them, said I needed it to get a passport for travel, due to a family illness. They expedited it. The woman on the phone was really sound.
