What happens if you go over 14 days on holiday abroad I got my day wrong have 15 now ,

Whilst technically it's two weeks, I'd doubt if there would be consequences re an extra day given the potential for delays, missing flights or whatever.

I don't know if you informed the department re taking holidays (an actual requirement), if you have I see no problem, if you haven't, and they check, which they can and do, it could be a problem, needing explanation. Be under no illusions, they want numbers on this payment down.

If you've not informed them of holiday its probably too late now so best left alone IMO

I've been on longer holidays, I went for 20 days, I notified them of this and I had the 14 days paid and 6 days unpaid, they were ok with it

sorry folks i did end up informing them dont think it would have made a diff if i hadnt lol
