    Name

    • OSi, Dublin Bus, and An Post have the 'u' at the start, i.e. Faussagh.
    • www.logainm.ie, Sráidainmneacha Bhaile Átha Cliath and Google have the 'u' at the end, i.e. Fassaugh.
    • The street name plates are mostly the former. Business use seems to mostly follow this.

    Background

    • Much as some people would have you believe, they are not all the one road with the one name!
    • The western junction with Saint Attracta Road is the break between Fassaugh Avenue / Fassaugh Road.
    • There was a historic lane called Fassaugh Lane where Fassaugh Road and part of Fassaugh Avenue are now.
    • The etymology appears to be "fásach". Or, to quote Bosco, "u-fásach".

Any thoughts on the correct spelling?

Any idea what the etymology of The Bogie’s Roundabout is? https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=19/53.36736/-6.30229
