Hi there, I’m looking for some FE1 advice/reassurance. I plan on sitting 6 FE1s in October. I’ve been studying since the 01st of July and I have all of the notes written out for 5/6 topics. I haven’t started practising exams papers yet, but I plan on doing that today. I don’t come from a legal background (I studied Business in college). I am going away for a week in September. So I have approximately 5 weeks study left. Is that enough time to enable me to pass all 6 in October? I don’t work, so I am devoting myself 9-5 everyday to study.

I sat five back in March and passed them all. It really depends on the subjects you're taking IMO. I would get cracking on studying the past papers and examiners reports, they're what got me through the exams. I started studying for them straight after the November 2020 sitting. My main advice would be pace yourself. I found afterwards I was wrecked, I was exhausted, vision problems, the whole shebang. Don't burn yourself out too early, and keep referring back to the past papers and examiners reports. Best of luck!

Hi there. Thank you for your advise!! Hopefully I’ll be okay. I’m going through exam papers now as I have all of my notes done for the 5 topics.

May I ask, do you have any of the legislation required for the exams I stated I’m doing? I don’t want to buy them all only to never use them again

Do the answers have to include exact quotes of the legislation or do you get away with understanding the meaning and jist behind the section in question? Appreciate the help.
