    Quick thread on this to keep spoilers out of the main Vuelta thread. Interesting the start ramp is out the door of a cathedral.

    Interesting to see if one of the big names takes the jersey on day one.

    That looked to be a late start for Landa there, hopped up, clipped in and was waved away without a count?

    And a dog on the road for one of the DSM lads.

    Suits the other teams to have TJV in red early doors I’d imagine.

    Bardet, Yates, and Mass bunched together around 16 or 17 seconds. Carapaz and Bernal a few seconds down on them. Landa a little further off at 38 seconds.

    Superman managed an ok TT there too.

    It's funny the guy on the ground for Eurosport (French I think) has been doing all the interviews in English. Think it's the first time I've heard the likes of Mas, Aru and Landa speaking in English.
