Aer Lingus Credit Card with Bank of Ireland - Free Flights hassle

Anyone had any dealings with them? or got any direct contact?

Its a different department and seem to have their own terms and conditions which I've just found out is very poor from my experience. You get 2 free flights a year within the EU, you pay taxes and charges which for us worked out about 170 euro.

Aer Lingus cancelled our flights twice with covid which I understand, however we are flying later in the month and one of us cant get the A/L on the first 2 days we are due to fly due to needing extra staff in work with the covid. I contacted Aer Lingus and asked them if they could move out flights out by 2 days, but they are quoting we must give 30 days notice as per the terms and conditions, however this is not the case if you book flights through their website they allow free changes over the covid.

I have checked and there is plenty of availability, Aer Lingus just won't help what so ever! Seems very unfair that we are going to loose out on our trip. The only point of contact we have for this "special team" is through emailing and they take a week to reply which clearly isn't great.

I saw that big poster while travelling through the airport and knew it was more hassle than it was worth.
