Vauxhall Insignia front subframe removal

    Helping my bro-in-law remove gearbox from 2009 insignia 2.0 dsl.

    Want to remove subframe - does anyone on here know if steering rack will come with subframe once steering column is disconnected (track rd ends and drop links already disconnected) ?

    Or would it be better to unbolt steering rack and leave it behind (having disconnected ARB clamps) /

    Any advice greatly appreciated .
