....SO is thinking of getting one of them, so looking to see if anyone has one and could talk about it.

    If DCT, all the better.

Recently passed 100,000km on my 750X DCT. Fire away with any questions.

I commute 80 mile a day. Only let me down in recent months due to my own neglect. Corrosion got into wiring and caused wires to come loose from the connector.

Well it's for the SO, so seat height is the main thing.

@RichardTea the X is too tall : tried one for size already.

My own bike is DCT, but wondering if the NC has all the same modes, or is it more basic?

Other than that i see mixed comments about the power of them. Not expecting sports power, but being a 700 it can't be that gutless surely? Her previous bikes were an SV650 and F800GS.

I rode it once or twice. Think theres drive and sport mode on it and paddle shift. Ive a 32 inch inside leg and could flat foot it. Gutless is variable depending on personalities or expectation. I thought it had good pep. Hes selling it at the moment, just downsizing the fleet. County Limerick. Im sure hed oblige you with a spin.

Regarding the seat height im a 29'' inside leg and I had to lower the bike. Even now I cant flat foot but im more than comfortable at the current height. Miner has the normal dct mode or Sports mode. I rarely use the sports mode as I mainly commute. Youtibe have riders hitting 190+kph on these bikes. Its very quick off a set of lights. I would imagine in sports mode it would be fine for the twistys etc Its really a jack off all trades bikes.
