5.15 Cartmel

Will go with MI LADDO here who has drifted out to a reasonable price of 11/2 . The going I believe is good at the Cumbrian venue. This 5yr old grey probably wants good to firm to show his best. A holdup performer who may or may not give a good account, but on his day he can be quick from A to B, and the sun is shining there 😊. 2m/2m 1f is probably as far as he wants, and the main danger to all is the well backed Pateen, who is in great form recently, though his last two races were in higher grades. So therefore he carries more weight in this Class 5, although the conditional offsets his big weight by 7lbs. I think Mi Laddo is a bit of value here, and I won't be too disappointed if today's not his day. Will go ew with 4 places to be had.

6.15 Beverley

A very tricky race to solve this. 14 of the 17 declared go to post with 4 places available ew. Anything could win it, and I've got about 7 or 8 selections for it 😀 That's far too many, but I've narrowed it down to 3 going on form, price, and draw. Low to middle seem to do well here, and I've gone for those in stalls 6,9, and 3: YOUNG TIGER 18/1, BIRKENHEAD 20/1, and JUMIRA BRIDGE 12/1

6.25 Ballinrobe

Gone for 3 ew here. I think ASSAM 10/1 has claims, DREAM WISELY 10/1 can go close on form, and EAGLE REEL 16/1 has been well backed, so will chance him too, and he's still a colt at 6 for some reason.
