Form 11 (paper version) error

Hi all, I posted off my 2020 Form 11 Returns this morning. I was just checking again later today (I had taken photo's of each page) and noticed that I have mistakenly deducted my Capital Allowances/ Balancing charge before arriving at the net profit figure (sections 107, 108 and 156).
Looking at copies of my previous year's Returns the Capital Allowance was deducted (by Revenue) after the net profit figure.
What is my best course of action now ?
I am hoping to see an acknowledgement of receipt of my Returns on ROS, and then try and contact Revenue with an explanation.
Or is there an alternative ????

Please don't suggest that I file online in future. I have grappled with this before, and I cannot seem to change any pre-populated sections. For the moment I prefer a Paper Return.....(apart from today :)).

Well the advantages of doing it online is that you can save it and print it out and check it before submitting it to Revenue.

With regard to your error, you can always send a message on myenquiry. They may scrutinise it further, or they may just amend it. Depends who you get.

Just send in an updated paper version, with note explaining why.

Also whilst none of us like paying taxes, along with the IDA , Revenue is the best state agency to deal with. Once you don’t f@%k around trying to dodge taxes they are most accommodating and will fix any issue ( of your own making ).
Note I’m not a civil servant , but want to give credit to Revenue where deserved.

Disagree that they are accommodating to deal with. Just yesterday i was trying to pay a RTSO1 tax. They won't let me pay it through myAccount. I cannot use ROS as it needs a security cert, which i can't do on my phone.

Even asking to add to myAccount i got a bizarre answer that i had to not only ask them to allow me make the payment, but also to request they add the "tax head" as of a specific date....like my request isnt enough.

Sad state of affairs when its easier to make payment by post & cheque than electronically.
