I too am going to build a man cave in the back yard and was wondering where is the best place to source a used pvc door (ideally french or sliding) and 2 windows.

I thought most people just dumped them.

    Any suggestions welcome.

They will not allow you remove stuff since someone sued for falling into a skip while trying to extract some metal:D

Maybe try some of the local uPVC smaller window manafacturers. They are regularrly measuring opes wrong and would have random perfectly good windows available at reduced prices !

There's a fella after Ballon on the N80 heading towards Carlow at a crossroads always has windows and doors outside his house. I'm sure he could sort you out with something.

It's known locally as bang up cross.

These lads had quite a selection of windows when I visited in May. Not listed on the site, but I know that the owner takes calls.

Walsh Windows in Limerick often sell off stuff I believe.

Keep an eye on the likes of “Clare free to a good home” on Facebook, there’s regularly windows and doors going up there.
