Homesavers had supposed to open a Kilkenny store in the Hebron Ind estate near An Post. The store had been fully stocked and signage up. The stock was removed a couple weeks ago but today noticed all the signage had been removed. I am assuming they are no longer opening in Kilkenny or does anyone know if they are going for a new location.

Strange there must have something wrong with the lease or they had not the right planning permission.

Didn’t have tue correct planning is all I heard. Looks like they just packed up and left rather than dealing with Kilkenny coco and their nonsense. Pity as it’s not a bad store that.

You simply cannot set up a general retail store in an industrial estate.

Homesavers are known for sticking two fingers to planning rules and councils are starting to act swiftly against them and similar type of stores that ignore very standard planning restrictions

And except for a few items, they are hugely overpriced
