Anybody know anywhere you could find old magazines, like a charity shop or something in the city

eBay can be great for old magazines, also Chapters bookshop used to sell second hand magazines and periodicals - not sure if they still do.

    Any particular magazines?

I know people are often trying to shift 'National Geographic'.

    How old?

Alex's in Dun Laoghaire is the place to go for slightly out of date stuff.

If it's for a film, there is a prop house in Wicklow that can rent you some.
