    Hi folks,

Unfortunately over the last month both of my elderly parents health has suddenly & unexpectedly gone into a downward spiral, both now are in two different hospitals & have had significant cognitive decline. Both will require full time nursing home care, & will be using the Nursing Home Support Scheme & Ancillary State Support.

They have owed their own home outright for many years but I now need to get copy of the land registry folio & copy of title deeds for the Ancillary State Support ( fair deal scheme )

How do I get this in the quickest & most straightforward way? I can be a bit thick so keep it simple please

    Thanks

If they ever had a mortgage then the bank could quite possibly have the deeds

    Or their solicitor

Or they may be in a box in the attic

If its on the new PRA system the folio is just a single sheet which they can print off the computer, I'm not sure if you need to be the owner to request it.

Likely https://www.landdirect.ie/pramap/ There is a modest fee. It will depend on how the ownership is registered
