Two poor choices by Carbery (kick prior to Larmour getting taken out and that choice to run into his own man), and that poor throw by Kelleher killing our momentum. All across the park though, we've been poor.

As I say it, well won by Carbery we get a nice score. Good hands.

    Lovely skillful try.

Great from Carbury grabbing a hold of the game, that's what you want to see.

Great linking pass from Doris to Keenan to draw in that extra Japan defender.

Thought one of our players may have run a blocking line to prevent a tackle though.

Beautiful hands and execution...more of that!

Sliding into Joey's head knee first!!!

    Ah stop

You just know Keenan is going to make the right decision when he gets into space

Dillane making an absolute mess of the restart again.

    Another re start mess up

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,669 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

That's a horror show from Dillane.

Dropped the restart then failed to clear out the Japan poacher.

And straight away an appalling restart. You'd murder a Junior cup team for doing that.

    Leitch never released there

    Leitch on his hands there.

Fun fact…Gavin is a first cousin of Olympic silver medalists rowers Paul and Gary O‘Donovan (and of Munster’s Liam Coombes on the other side)….
There’s something in the water down Skibb way….

No, you constantly see players sliding into players recovering the ball or dotting it down.

I wouldn't call that release "clear" by any means.

Still, Dillane needs to catch that

Shows that we can play and don't have to stick to Schmidt's/Farrell's low risk rugby.

    Larmour injury.

    Ffs

Managing a dig at Schmidt for a game in mid-2021 is impressive.

Shane Daly looks like he's put on a bit of muscle

No, you constantly see players sliding into players recovering the ball or dotting it down.

But he didn't slide with his knees into him he slid to take the ball with his torso which is why joey hit his torso not his knees

Pen for side entry, but Doris was over that ball in a flash. It's a pen for holding on if not for a side entry.

    Another ****ed lineout. FFS.

It's the legacy of low risk rugby from the same coaching team.

Channel 4 commentary team still think Himeno is playing FFS.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,821 ✭✭✭KH25

Ah lads come on. Another bad lineout.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,300 ✭✭✭✭razorblunt

Whatever Kelleher was doing over in Jersey with the Lions it obviously wasn’t lineout throwing.

A crooked throw is one thing, but Japan reading our calls like a book is much more concerning.
