    Hi All,

very new to the world of Solar, but I want an outside hot water supply, for an external shower. My research has thrown up a thermosyphon as a viable solution. But despite some extensive searching Ive not been able to find a supplier of one in or to Ireland.

I think 150l or 200l would be more than sufficient. While I can find some supplier in southern europe Ive been surprised by the limited options. I have read that grants for solar hot water moved in a different direction, as did the technology and I know there are better options with collectors and internal tanks. However still feel the solar thermosyphon is the the option best suited to my limited needs.

anyone got any suggestions where I might be able to find one?

    thanks

Don't know if they are CE approved, I tried about 10-15 years ago to become an Irish agent and I couldn't get approval,
How often will this be used, is it only summer used ?

    for a Australia based product.

Pretty sure they are CE approved. I can find some suppliers in Croatia, Spain and NL. However no replies yet regarding shipping etc.

And yes, will pretty much just be summer use.

I'll update this thread as I learn more.

    Thanks
