Speakers on kitchen cabinets

Hi,

I have just had my kitchen installed and have speaker cable ran for 4 speakers over the kitchen cabinets. The speaker cable goes back to the TV and I want to buy a speaker system that will let me have a sub and speakers around the tv and then also be able to use the speakers at the kitchen but only when I choose them to be on. 

is it possible to buy a system with zone control in it so the kitchen would have a zone I could select when needed. Unfortunately I didnt leave power over the cabinets as I could have put in wi-fi speakers.

There are 2 main ways you could achieve this.
You could go down the route of a 7.1 amp and run 5.1 in the TV room and then the extra 2 speaker connections can run the 4 in the kitchen.
It's no ideal as it really only designed for 2 extra in Zone 2 but as the speakers are wired in parallel you should be okay. (Each speaker wired back to the amp).

The likes of the Denon AVRX 2700 coming in at 629 Euro would be this job wonderfully.

If you went for a 9.1 amp like the Denon AVCX4700 priced at 1470 Euro then it has an extra 4 terminals to run all 4 speakers in Zone 2 no issues at all.
