Anyone hear of any travel fines being issued, Due out on the 18th day before restrictions end, both fully vaccinnated aswell?

Badly need the break away but the 2k per person seems extreme and perhaps unlawfull?

seems to have dropped off the news lately if any being issued, leaving from SNN

Still being issued but sporadically. It's a risk you take.

Don't know where you're getting the unlawful from. Attorney general will have signed off on the legislation

Government advice to avoid non-essential travel, and related penalties will remain in place until 18 July. As and from 19 July this will be changed to advise citizens to travel safely and in accordance with public health guidance and restrictions.

Countries have up to 6 weeks to implement it so no, nothing unlawful about the current regulations.

    I'd say you'll be fine.
    Or fined

Edit.. Obv you'll need valid reason for travel. Poor Jose Gonzales whose funeral you're attending....

Nah, i flew out months ago with no problems.
Took precautions. Bus to terminal to miss checkpoint at departures. Arrived really early and went through T1 security (no garda at the wee stand) even though i was flying from T2.

Light grilling on the way back in but there were so many arriving with similar stories, all they really wanted to see was evidence of pcr
