Any recommendations on Travel Insurance which includes cover if someone gets a positive Covid test just before Travel?

Have looked at Blue Insurance. Any others?

I got a very decent quote from Blue but am still concerned about the non essential travel disclaimer... which I didn't see but expect to.

I've booked a policy with https://battleface.com/ who specialise in insurance for countries which are on travel restriction lists. It doesn't include cover for Covid but it is valid for regions for which there is an advisory against non essential travel. I couldn't find any other Irish company that would offer this.

Hi. Resurrecting this thread from last year. Have never had travel insurance before but will definitely purchase this year.

If I was to take out this VHI multi trip insurance policy for myself and two kids and we were unable to travel due to one of us testing positive for covid - would we be reimbursed for all of our flight and accommodation expenses?

I have flights [one flight still left to book] and accommodation booked separately (accommodation 2 private apartment rentals) - cost will be approx €3k in total.

    Cheers for any advice
