What is the nearest hospital to Castlerea residents?

    I think the closest hospital would be Roscommon, but it is deactivated, right?
    What would be the next closest one that Castlerea's residents normally go to?

    I don't know the usual hospital people from there would go to,
    but in order of distance (and depending on the route), the possible hospitals would be:
    Ballinasloe (Portiuncula Hospital)
    Sligo (Sligo University Hospital)
    Castlebar (Mayo University Hospital)
    Galway (University Hospital Galway)

    It would probably depend on the reason for attending.

    If you call an ambulance, where they bring you can depend on what’s wrong with you.
    A GP can refer you to any hospital, I think.
    But anyone I know from the area tends to end up in Castlebar.
