Looking to buy house

    Hi
    New to boards
Just looking for some advise around buying at the moment
Been on to a broker about mortgage approval and from chat about our finances and jobs.
They said everything looks good to go.
    No outgoings
Just savings, around 1200 to 1600 each a month
The only problem I am seeing is there are very few houses.
    Looking between Kildare and Laois
The market seems highly inflated at the moment
I am really considering leaving buying for a few years
Would this be a good idea or are they going to keep rising until building meets demand?

    Thanks

The housing market sucks atm. But no one can tell you when/if it'll get better.

Bottom line is do what's right for you. If you need to buy a house now or happen to find a house you'll be happy in for 10-20 years that you can afford, go for it.
