Places to see before tourism rebounds

    What are the destinations that might be a bit more tolerable this year and next before mass tourism gets fully going again?

    I was in Venice last year (which I had heard mostly bad things about because of the crowds) and it was absolutely lovely.

    Where else?

    I would love to see Dubrovnik with no tourists . To wander and take it in and feel the history and to sit at an outdoor cafe in peace and no crowds around

    Unfortunately the cruise ships dock in the last few years and spill people into Dubrovnik in droves
    We were there a good few years ago and it was beginning to be overcrowded when the ships docked
