Can anyone recommend a powerbank to jumper a car? In our household and business we have a total of 8 different engines and as you can imagine every couple of month's there is a flat battery especially with the older stuff and having taxed my classic car since June 1st my jumper cables have been in action three times already as the battery fubar in it not holding the charge.

I have decided to buy a booster pack where I will let it plugged in always on trickle charge and have it ready to go into action wherever is needed. Last year we had to drag a heavy car battery and jumper cables up 300-400m of mountain side when the quad died above there when it wouldn't start on the pull cord either.

    Would second that.
I got one of those last year for Xmas - and the first time I used it was to start a 1.9 Tdi Bora which was covered in frost. Started it immediately (to my surprise) and has started quite a few cars since - including a Navara with the 2.5 diesel engine.
And it's so easy to carry around - fits in most door pockets.

I bought a GooLoo 2000 28000mAh booster years ago on a Kickstarter, and have used it loads of times. When the wife’s Lexus hybrid’s 12v system started acting up I tried to get another one, and couldn’t. Found that the Noco GB40 is the nearest popular equivalent. Bought two of those in Halfords @ ~€130 each, gave the mother one.

As above one of these. Charge it , leave in glove box. Jumped strangers cars when out and about from a polo , focus, range rover. Handy for charging other items on the move. Have mine years , never let me down.

Would it not be a good idea to keep as many as possible on a trickle charger, they aren't that expensive, much cheaper then having to replace batteries, this way it keeps them healthy.

Recently got a NOCO Gb50 and think it's great. Will jump 6L petrol and 3L diesel as well as 6v batteries too.
