    I don't think anyone had said they wouldn't (if possible to receive a UK transmission etc)

    Bear in mind what is stated for videos 2 and 3 is just an occasional reception due to atmospheric conditions. This would have been known about for many decades before DAB existed, Band III VHF could sometimes travel far along long sea paths. DXers have very occasionally received Norway DAB transmissions on the east coast of England facing Norway which is much more of a distance.

    Video 1, near the border would be a consistent reception but I believe using an outdoor Band III aerial.

    Most of the NI stuff is what I call "Window sill Quality" in Louth, definately not receivable inside a house - but good on car radios, especially in parts of Dundalk
