We are planning a 1500 x 800 wall to wallshower in new ensuite. 40mm low profile showere tray. Now the debate is around screen v full sliding door. Sliding door allows 630mm access and the 900mm screen would allow 600mm access. I'm steering toward full door, husband prefers the idea of the screen for easier access, ? sense of space. I'm concerned about splashes. Advice welcome.

900mm is fine I have a 700 as we thought we could open our ensuite to a width of 1500m turns out in the box section behind the shower wall is a stack pipe so we lost 200mm to that hense the 700mm screen. With the size I have now I am contemplating changing it to a sliding door or atleast getting some more protection for the splashes on the floor. Again though I dont think I would have anything to worry about if I had the initial 900mm I thought I would have

PLumber told me before, if you dont have underfloor heating then put in a door in the shower. Splashes out onto the floor will happen, and if you dont have the heating, they will still be sitting their hours later.
