    I have moved into old house. Needs rewiring new kitchen . Would you recommend building kitchen before rewiring.

    Get the wiring and any internet and tv cable points done first. Allow plenty of sockets and future proof as much as possible.

    Don't expect anything from life, just be grateful to be alive.

    Do kitchen walls need chasing for new sockets? If so walls will need to be re plastered.
    Make sure location of oven is in same place as you will need spur in that location.
    Are there old tiles Wall /floor to be removed?
    Get as much work completed before installing new kitchen?
    As pointed out above you can never have enough sockets

    The electrician (and plumber if you go for a gas cooker) and ventilation person will want to know your kitchen layout

    Might need to get an Architect on the case!
