painting meter box cover

    as you guessed its now yellow/cream.

    wall is white.

    how and with what is the best way to pain these, ive a smaller eircom connection box also that I need to do.

    just weathershield the lot?

    I've never done one, but as it's plastic I'd suggest you at least use a primer otherwise you might find it peels off.

    Of course you might find it peels off even with a primer but I'd definitely use one.

    A primer like Zinsser 123 should do trick .

    I did this about 4 years ago.
    Just lightly sanded the box covers (gas and electric) and used dulex weathershield on top and it still looks fine now.

    Go to hardware store buy can of white spray paint suitable for plastic.

    Tape off . Spray. Done walk away.
