New ticket machines on Bus Eireann Buses

Just wondering what other peoples experiences have been of the new ticket machines that have been introduced since February on Bus Eireann buses?

For me, the first month or so, they were fine. I could pay using my watch or credit card no problem, not having to worry any more about having correct change or whatever.

But since April, it's incredibly hit and miss as to whether the machines will read cards or watches. And the drivers don't seem exactly too pushed about it either.

    Anyone else had this experience?

Yes from experience. I think a lot of issues with driver training, tech issues and then passengers been able to pay with card on one bus and next bus has the old system.
