Very harsh sentence for someone with no previous convictions, the harsh sentence is clearly down to her being from RTE, there are people commiting far worse crimes with dozens of previous convictions getting away with suspended sentences or no sentences.

Or maybe it was because the creep continued on after being told several times to stop. he still doesn't think that he did anything wrong so would likely continue to harass this woman. Even after he gets out he will likely restart his harassment.
