    a friend has to travel back in June from London to arrange sale of mothers house after her death. I know they need a PCR test however do they need anything else such as evidence of why they are travelling and that it is essential

    As it currently stands they also have to quarantine at home on arrival. If they do a test after 5 days and get a negative result they can end the quarantine. If they don’t do the test it’s 14 day quarantine.

    There is a government announcement tomorrow so the above might change.

    Thanks forgot about quarantine on arrival however they will by themselves in house so that should be okay
    they are fully vaccinated however it doesnt seem that makes any difference to rules
