Just wondering what Carne beach in wexford is like? Is there a lifeguard and is it very busy in summer? Thanks

Was there a couple of years ago on a nostalgia trip It wasn’t too busy on a lovely day in the middle of the summer. As far as I can remember there was lifeguards but wouldn’t swear to it.
It’s a nice beach but I’d prefer St. Helens which is nearby.

Lovely beach. There are lifeguards there in summer but not sure how busy it gets. Huge caravan park beside it so I'd guess it's not quiet.

it's a nice beach with lifeguards in July and August. Public toilets by the harbour and bar / takeaway just off the beach in the caravan park. As said above it can get a little busy at the height of the season because of the caravan park. If it is just walk up towards Rosslare Harbour onto Ballytrent beach, lovely long beach but no lifeguard.
