    Yeah well ...it's a resto-mod

Meaning they snazzed up an original Manta with an electric motor, garish lights and an infotainment system.

Also meaning if they were ever to build it for realz for you to buy it would look nothing like this because you simply can't build cars like that any more...electric or otherwise.
Look at all the blowfish out there today with their crash safety features and A-pillars like tree trunks.

You might get lucky though and they'll make an electric Opel Mokka SUV coupe and call it "Manta" :D

That's the real Manta, hopefully nobody will ever destroy one with an electric motor.

No Cortina could hold a candle to the Manta outclassed in every area.

I always considered the Capri that was its natural counterpart, and enemy. :D The Capri IMHO was the better looking car, but the Manta outclassed it dynamically.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

Yea I'd say the Capri would have been a closer match, as you say the Manta was a far superior car in every way.

Not disagreeing but their new stuff is terrible reliability wise.

Engines mostly. That's what happens when you try to get old engines to do impossible things by sticking bits on to them. Being set ridiculously impossible emissions targets by the EU doesn't help.
