Vanilla are planning an update to the site on April 24th (next Wednesday). It is a major PHP8 update which is expected to boost performance across the site. The site will be down from 7pm and it is expected to take about an hour to complete. We appreciate your patience during the update.

Re-laying the same carpet

We have to lift the carpet in a room to fix something in the concrete below. Have we any hope of relaying that same carpet ourselves? The carpet wasn't terribly expensive so if we have to pay for a fitter to come out, we might just buy a whole new carpet. I'd like to try relay ourselves though.
