Anyone got a set of Campagnolo Chorus 11speed mechanical Shifters?

I'm specifically looking for the left shifter. Any condition, as its the parts inside i'm lnterested in.

    thanks

You can also just buy the internals for around €90 per shifter and swap over the brake lever if stuck. Very easy job.

Probably not suitable, but just in case, I have pair of very lightly used Centaur Levers (11 speed) if interested?

Yeah I know. My levers are pre 2015. The only left shifter rebuild kit I've found online specifically states that it's not suitable for pre 2015 levers. (Although looking at the photo on the website, it looks identical to me)

Thanks I'll check them out. Any idea What the difference between the older choruse and new post 2015 models is?

I came across this rebuild kit and it certainly looks the same as mine.

I would be pretty sure that there is a difference in the pull ratio betwee the 2 years even though they are both 11sp there is a difference in the way the cable pulls the mech therefore not compatible.

Thanks Koutoubia, I'm in the process of stripping down the lever... this will be handy to confirm I put everything back correctly!

If that's the case, then it's only an issue with the right shifter? As I need the left shifter, it won't matter right?

No there's a different pull ratios on them both. The FD's changed from a low boxy type pre-15 to a long arm post-15. I couldn't get a post-15 FD to work with a pre-15 shifter a while back. You'd get it to work in a it'll do while you sort something else type of way, but that's all.

.......and just to compound things further Campagnolo are no longer manufacturing 11sp so you need to find a shop with stock of what you need.

Talk to Graham in Velotech Cycling https://www.velotech-cycling.ltd.uk/. He may not have a full replacement, but I'd be surprised if he cannot rebuild what you have

Thanks For all the replies..i found a pair of levers online and they are on t way to me as we speak.

@onthefringe, if your interested, i should have a R/H shifter available shortly? Its a new rebuilt one. All new except for the Brake lever/blade, which has quite a few marks on it.

I crashed a few weeks ago and the R/H shifter was trashed. I bought a rebuild kit in Humphries and fitted the Brake blade and hood. The L/h shifter was (or so I thought ) working and just had cosmetic damage. So after fitting new bars, cable and bar tape, I took the bike out for a spin and after a few K, I went to change onto the big ring and there was a cracking noise from the left shifter and it hasn't worked since! I've stripped it down and I think the springs have lost their "springiness" as no components are broken.

So once I get the new levers fitted I'll contact you and if your still interested we'll talk then?

Potenza was a funny one. I think it had a pull ratio all of its own for some reason and wasn't compatible with anything else. The silver version looked great for a retro build though.
