Female vs Male Absenteeism in Your Workplace?

    Just curious what the male vs female absenteeism is like in your workplace. Female here, it's always taken a lot to make me miss a day of work. I work somewhere where most of my female colleagues are constantly off with ailments while the males have rarely missed a day. It's a young staff and none of the females have children while 3 of the males do. It was like this pre-Covid by the way.

    Is this common in other workplaces?

    "Although women were found to perceive some work related factors different than men and to take substantially more days off than men, their absence occurrences were not significantly different. "

    That's one paper, and I'm not an expert, so caveat lector.
