Whiskey from your own field

I came across this series of videos from Waterford distillery. They make a whiskey from the barley of just one farm. I think they have 72 suppliers and all the malting barley is kept separately until the whiskey is bottled. Totally different to just producing a commodity that we never get feedback from.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

    Boortmalt are involved supplying malt.
Someone we had here from saymyname's parish would have passed through Dublin with Max Potts(he reckoned a nice fella), he was sorted with a Malt Barley Phd by Boort.

His older cousin was in school with me in Good counsel in 'Ross.
I only know the gossip of the burning field cause the uncle happened to be Bunclody bound talking about what spray he could swap something for on the hands free giving the audio visual guided tour of the goins on that day.

I know who your cork man was, he was here trying to get linseed to grow on clay when he worked for Premium crops in the Uk around 2017/18? when we thought you could DD man's ground. One time competition of my best friend who's cork based.

Just after watching the clip and how they're going on about the quality casks imported from the U.S. and France.

And then thinking about the coopers of the gunpowder mills of ballincollig and they nearly starved to death after their work dried up. Most of them scattered on the wind to the UK and the U.S. looking to stay on their trade of profession.

I think we're lost again Murt Q is the cousin i knew atleast.

The young fella came for harvest in 2015 from a stint in Nz with a Kiwi mate. He'd have spent a long time over here now last i heard of him working casually(high workloads, gets bored and moves on in 4/5 months) on all sorts of crop farms. He went home in winter and jobbed around with one or 2 farms until season starts again.
