    Stage start: 12:30 p.m. CEST

Stage 3 today, one that looks best suited for punchier riders, although it could still come down to a sprint.

I'm hoping it will kick off a bit on one of those climbs. Otherwise it's a long afternoon ahead...

Caleb swinging on the longer climb already. Doesn't bode well for him for the finish.

Sagan gonna take this handily unless someone close to the top of GC fancies clipping off the front

Those Aurum bikes are attractive that the Eulo team ride.

Hard to see Sagan getting up this without been dropped

Ciccone and Gallopin putting a dig in there. Love to see Bora denied here just like the tour last year.

Very spicy ride by Taco. Could be a tasty result here. Appetising prospect.

Delighted for him. He even had enough to have his moment over the line. I was expecting another heartbreaker.

    Sagan didn't even get 2nd!

The slow mo of the finish was great, big smile on his face in contrast to the faces of Sagan and Viviani behind.

He's far from finished imo. Won a few things this year and top 5 in MSR. Still plenty of wins in him I'd say

  • Moderators, Science, Health & Environment Moderators Posts: 9,035 Mod ✭✭✭✭mewso

Delighted for him. Dumped by Jumbo last year and I seem to remember he had a heartbreaker of a breakaway for them last season (Tour of Poland?) where he was caught very late.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,034 ✭✭✭griffin100

Have you ever seen a happier winner? Delighted for him.

The last 10km of this stage and the last 10km of yesterday’s last stage of Algarve were brilliant.

They should have have helped Bora early on then, not a Bora fan but they emptied the tank for Sagan once again without help.
