Just got a letter today for jury duty...

Am a little worried, as i'm on contract where i work and its due up in October...I'm pretty certain of getting permanency as things stand...

But if i'm out for a few weeks on Jury Duty i'm concerned it might count against me...

    Don't panic.
Phone them up and explain you're on a contract and pretty much essentail. maybe they'll accept a letter from your employer. Completely at their discretion though.
