So either something has gone wrong, or the mechanic at the service told them that something will go wrong very soon. Tax is up in June.

Could be fine, but I'd avoid anything that someone bought so recently, tbh.

Boardsies can ignore the asking price, 300 euros will do just fine - it's to stop the JohnnyXmary's and JacintaXBilly's and scrap merchants ringing me.

Clutch is poor.
Radio doesn't work.
The front left CV has started to click.

It's NCT'd until 08th of August so will get someone out of a hole and you'll get 200 from a scrapper who will collect it from your door after that. 110k miles. Two keys and logbook present.

I have an e92 got 330d in a very very high spec bought with the most comprehensive preventative maintenance I've ever seen completed, with about 500 pics and receipts. It was far too expensive compared to others but there was only one car I was ever gonna go for again. I'm just awaiting an NCT on it to pick up. Two months in a getz has broke me.

That is pretty sweet alright, albeit some may consider there to be too much of a bang of hearse of it!
From a day (or at least closer to a day) where build quality and longevity was more what a luxury car was about rather than the name of the game being packing as much gadgetry as possible into disposable tat.

We're there not issues with early 00 Mercs, , after the Chrysler in /take over? Issues with reliability and build quality? When did that kick in?

Front-wheel arch rust is an obvious issue on all of them.

More serious is the spring seat corrosion on the front. But it's easily repaired, just needs to be budgeted for. If it's been NCT'ed, then its clearly not an immediate danger.
Otherwise not too bad from what I hear.

That was a serious find. Damn near a grand under priced I'd be thinking in the current market.

Ya'd have to laugh at the buck offering 600 ya have to be hopping on stuff like that not pr1ckin about haggling especially with how things are at the minute.

I had a clean tested 110bhp tdi toledo bought last weekend for 500 it's full asking price. 200 deposit paid and ready to collect the next day. Car only on donedeal 23 minutes when I made contact.

Get the 200 refunded during the night because yer mans neighbour saw it for sale and offered more. In hindsight I should have been on the road for it immediately but had to wait for a vet so couldn't budge.

Sickened really.
