Could be the clutch disc stuck to the flywheel, but this usually only occurs if laying up for a year or more.

You may have a hydraulic issue with clutch salve or master cylinder meaning the clutch isn't actually clearing when you press the pedal. Does the clutch pedal feel normal? fluid level in reservoir normal, evidence of leaking slave cylinder etc...

If it somehow is the disc stuck to the flywheel, start it in gear and drive it with our foot pressed down on the clutch and see if it will brake free. Try stepping on the brake too while driving, to see if the extra resistance will free it to. Alternatively put it in 2nd or 3rd gear, foot on the clutch and turn the starter to see if it will brake free, this method is very hard on the starter motor.

If it's been sitting five weeks I'd just try to coax a while longer.
