I have a leak in the bathroom upstairs and I have a guy coming to put down lino I ripped the other one up and saw the wood was wet and some parts dark ,would it be safe or even smelly to get the new Lino down without sorting this I’m convinced it’s a leak from the tape

sorry i only saw this post today but all leaks no matter how minor should be fixed. they will only get worse and lead to further problems down the line.
