Do you think all the transgender and homosexual and woke and white people in Ireland with a Twitter account all had a secret meeting somewhere over the past 18 months to decide what word they were going to hammer the living sh*te out of from now until the end of time?

    I do.

And I think the word they agreed on was, for whatever reason, 'discourse'.

It's all discourse this and discourse that. I have a very long and girthy vocabulary, so much so that my nickname at university was Lexicon Steele [it wasn't I never went to uni] and I still have no idea what they're talking about.

In my day, a discourse was a seminar you took if you wanted to insult people better.

Now it's the most commonly-used word among woke people since 'repeal'.

I'm not the word police. Lesbians and prospective lesbians who would be lesbians if they were born into the right body can use whatever words they like.

But c'mon, change it up. Variety is the spice of life. Get more creative.

    Happy Holidays :)

I've no idea what you're on about at all but 'discourse' is a simple enough and quite unambiguous word meaning a written or spoken communication or debate. Is that not what they mean?

    That’s debatable.

I think homosexuals are more into discos than discourse.

Ah you've cracked it. Obviously discos are shut at the moment and the closest thing to a disco is a discourse.

Closed. There's already a thread to discuss things you feel are 'woke' here
