Vision insurance

I moved to Ireland a few months ago and have since received a referral for a kerataconus test. I haven't yet enquired about how much this would cost but assuming that it'll be expensive!

I've been googling around trying to find some companies that offer vision insurance, or at least health insurance providers that offer a bit of support for vision, but not managed to find anything. Does anyone have any experience with a provider that they can recommend?
